I completely disagree.
Chris Andersen is one of the rare ones who has worked his butt off all his life, given back to the community (specifically ,buying at-risk kids from the community tickets every season so a child who normally may not afford it may be able to go to NBA basketball game), and has the skills to back it all up.
He has never quit. He has always worked out, practice after practice, game after game showed more dedication to the game, and now shall show respect to the NBA, NBA players, coaches, management and staff by achieving greatness once again.
Once his confidence level rises making him realize that he may be one of the great one s of the NBA, then he shall make POSITIVE history wiping out any negative residue created from past mistakes.

boston would have trouble matching usa's scoring output. Defensivly, boston could probably "handle" (used loosly) the usa but offensive output may be another story. The
Celtics had their trouble putting points on the board at times during the regular season
and against a "redeem team"'s firepower, you need to score. it would be a great game to watch, though.

i would love to see this. I think the celts chemistry would make the game against the US kinda tough...the US has the firepower, but we have KG, Ray ray, and PP.

The Celtics would only lose to team USA. They would beat spain because we all saw what the celtic defense did to pau gasoft, and you act like ricky rubio or rudy fernandez are anything special , celtic D can shut down nba starters, would what they do to these guys? Argentina would lose by 10, Scola dosn't off set garnett on both ends of the floor are you kidding me, no one on argentina can handle paul pierce. Team China is not even worth talking about.

Luis Scola gives you half the productivity of Kevin Garnett. Garnett is one of the top two true power forwards currently playing in any league (duncan being the other). Scola is a nice role player. The talent level of the celtics would surely be greater than any overseas competition. I think Boston would match up well in the international game.
they defend the pick and roll exceptionally well, have the wide bodies to absorb the physical play and excel in a half court set, which seems very common in international ball. So..........I agree the C's may have a hard time with the "redeem team" , but I feel they would win a gold fairly handily in Olympic play.

While he is not a high school star, he is only 17 years old, and going against grown men still puts him at a disadvantage.

Ricky is not a high school/ college star. He plays on a professional team equal to the NBA in Spain called Juventud. Not to be rude. but he is an exceptionally great professional ball prodigy.

Interesting. Good read. Josh Howard is truly idiotic in my opinion. I see him being a guy like Ben Wallace who was very underrated at one point to being extremely OVERRATED and OVER PAID. Definitely looking forward to see how this plays out.
